Fuel injector service thoughts

Doesn't your stomach sink when your check engine light goes on? You're humming along on the highway, enjoying a day trip you've been looking forward to for weeks, when suddenly there it is, your check engine light. Oh, no! Should you pretend it didn't happen (after all, the light isn't flashing, yet) or go back home? That check engine light could indicate the presence of any number of issues, from a loose gas cap to an engine misfire, some of which may lead to serious damage and expensive repairs at some point in the future. The on board computer in your car constantly monitors for operational issues and sends out a signal whenever it detects any irregular activity. The computer tries to correct the problem first, then alerts you to the issue by illuminating the check engine light if it can't put things right. When that happens, you need to pull over, turn off the car and check your gas cap.
