Out of my head on the topic of real estate commission
Buyers are beginning to realize that, in reality, they are doing part of the brokers work by locating their homes themselves and believe they have earned a rebate on the real estate commission. Just as with flat fee services, some brokers shy away from connecting their clients to buyers operating on their own. However, others will argue that, in a real estate slump, properties should be made available to all prospective home buyers regardless of the sales method. With buyers and sellers more Internet savvy these days, brokers are more often required only for negotiations, contract preparation and other real estate related intricacies. Why should buyers not receive a real estate commission rebate for their part in the transaction.
