When the project is done, further improve your home by loading up one of the units with possessions that otherwise would sit in your attic or basement for a year, and send them off to the storage facility to be stored. When you rent a portable storage unit, be creative. They may have been developed for one main use, but there's no reason to be hemmed into that use. If you want to use the unit right on your lawn, go ahead. If you'd rather use it for storage than for moving, go ahead.
