When the pods arrive at your new home, you empty them, then call for pickup, and the company takes them away. That's all. You may not even need to be home when the company drops off and picks up the pods. Although pods are excellent any time you are moving house, they are exceptionally well suited to moves in which you will not be moving into your new home immediately. For instance, you may plan to spend a month or two living in a short term rental apartment and looking for a house in your new town after you have closed on the sale of your previous house.
